felt great to be back in the saddle, with nothing but the cool breeze and mixed masculine smells of sweat, asphalt, and exhaust to interrupt my thoughts. i discovered that many people here operate on the rule that as long as the motorist can speed up and get in front of the cyclist, then it's ok for said motorist to immediately slow down and cut off said cyclist with a turn. i've done it myself once or twice in the states. as the cyclist in the situation, i find myself coming up with fresh new combinations of "motherfucker", "fucking son of a bitch", the middle finger, and "fucking crazy bitch" quite often. adrenaline can be quite communicatively liberating. my only real frustration stemmed from not yet having transferred my loud as shit horn from The Little Mule. i was forced to throw out the silent bird tonight, and i'm not even sure if homeboy noticed.
fucking perfect weather this morning! even had to strip down to a t-shirt to keep from overheating. my, how fast that shit can change. some sort of evil wintery typhoon (rough translation) rolled in this afternoon, and gave me a stiff head wind the whole ride home. together we rode tough though. not many problems other than my long girlie locks smacking me in the eyeballs with every gust and only very recently regaining feeling in my hands.
hmmm, let me see. what else....
i saw a beagle dressed like a panda. that was pretty cool. my recent honored guest got a kick out of all the cute clothes on dogs here. i guess i'm accustomed.
my cookie supplies are dwindling. old man sent along a rather large batch of his special tasty treats. should anyone else get that all too familiar baking/shipping urge, i'm here to help, and can hook up the address.
i cried watching a movie last night. i ain't a pussy or nothin, it was just super fuckin cute.
i'm pretty sure my main man tony's gonna brave the trip j-ward, despite all the media scare tactics and whatnot. i gotta say that i'm a little proud, and also that he's not gonna regret that shit.
christmas tree's on the fritz. i've all but abandoned hope.
i'm enjoying blogging again, what with the extra focus time provided by The Stallion and all.
HOLLA.
